How much current (Amps), or how much power (Watts) can be run through the 12v PCB tracks safely? Yes, they're fused @ 20A, but is this the limit of the hardware or just a convenient fuse to utilise? 240w doesn't seem very high for this application...

Pinout of this unit is the standard ATX available easily searching in Google. as far as I know, Dell use a different pinout on their PSU. Detected the ground GND and probe them in respect of GND on the Dell side and make the adaptor. That's what I would do
